Where historic character meets contemporary calm
A restoration that unites Alpine heritage with refined modern luxury beside Lake Fuschl.
Rosewood Schloss Fuschl sits on the shores of Lake Fuschl as one of Austria’s most storied properties, shaped originally as a fifteenth-century hunting lodge. GA draws on this legacy while introducing a sense of modern serenity that feels both authentic and elevated.

Austrian alpine environment
The castle’s significant art collection, rich in European masterworks, provided a powerful creative foundation. Rather than presenting the pieces as museum objects, GA wove them into the rhythm of daily life. In the lobby lounge, a work by Georg Baselitz forms a dramatic centrepiece, framed by antlers that acknowledge the estate’s origins as a grand hunting lodge.

Materials throughout the hotel echo local traditions with subtlety. Timber, stone, and natural textures evoke the alpine environment, connecting each space to the cultural stories of Salzburg and the surrounding region. The design strikes a careful balance between heritage and contemporary clarity, resulting in interiors that feel timeless rather than nostalgic.

Asaya Spa
Inspired by Austrian wellness traditions and the Salzkammergut landscape, the 1,500 square metre spa includes indoor and outdoor infinity pools, a suite of saunas and steam rooms, and eight treatment spaces. The outdoor pool extends towards the forest, giving guests the feeling of swimming into the natural landscape.
