At Clerkenwell Design Week 2025, G.A Group and House of Rohl united to offer an immersive experience that celebrates design, luxury, and well-being. Nestled within the historic walls of Charterhouse, this collaboration presents an innovative and sensory-driven outdoor bathroom concept, bringing the new Kerid collection by House of Rohl, to life.

Our design draws inspiration from Japanese rituals and the ancient Japanese Onsen, transforming this space into an intimate sanctuary that blurs the lines between the indoor and outdoor worlds. With the Onsen’s therapeutic focus on health, relaxation, and connection to nature, the design invokes the soothing rituals of Japanese bathing culture – deeply rooted in the principles of wellness and mindfulness.

The Kerid Collection

At the heart of the experience is the Kerid Collection, embodying minimalism and mindfulness in its design. Freestanding tubs and sculptural basins, seamlessly integrate into the space, reinforcing the idea of bathing as a ritual of relaxation and self-care. The collection’s versatility - designed for both indoor and outdoor environments - is reflected in the carefully curated setting, where ambient lighting enhance the experience of luxury and stillness.

Visitors are invited to step into this serene retreat, where the sound of water, the interplay of light and shadow, and the layered materiality create a moment of quiet luxury. It showcases a celebration of balance and the beauty found in simplicity.
